Continuo Music Services
Provides music services for composers, publishers and performers including
copying, transcription, transposition, and arrangements for any abilities and instruments.
Making Music / South-east region
NFMS represents and supports amateur and semi-professional music groups,
including choirs, orchestras and music promoters throughout the United Kingdom. They provide a comprehensive
range of artistic and administrative services as well as development and training opportunities.
Making Music also lobbies on behalf of its members to national and local government and
other agencies.
ChoralNet
ChoralNet provides a central portal to online resources and communications for the
global choral music community. It is an officially sanctioned site of the
International Federation for Choral Music (IFCM)
and so attempts to encompass more than regional or national efforts. ChoralNet
provides extensive links to other choral communities and
organisations (including over 2000 choir websites worldwide), and resources such as reference
materials and rehearsal tips. There is also a repertoire database containing almost 50,000
titles covering both old masters and present-day composers, along with publication
information, and links to MIDI files, scores, composer biographies and
translations.
Musica
A non-profit making organisation, "Musica International", created in February 1998,
is devoted to developing and propagating the use of the Musica database and to
transforming it progressively into a virtual multimedia library.
Silvis Woodshed
A collection of downloadable MIDI files containing an electronic
representation of the accompaniments to many choral works, to enable choral
singers to learn their notes at home.
