Wooburn Singers are back singing together. Following the success of our open-air concerts in the summer and our recent live recorded concert of Fauré & Kodály, we were planning our first proper concert with audience. St Mary’s Church Beaconsfield welcomed us back for our annual Christmas concert on Saturday 19th December. But Tier 3 arrived and the audience had to be cancelled apart from a few family helpers. The whole concert was downloaded to a subscriber YouTube channel. We apologise for the sound quality through the Church’s live-stream system, but hopefully it is good enough to get some pleasure
The programme is beautiful, with several new carols and plenty of old favourites too, led by our musical director Tom Hammond-Davies and accompanied by pianist, Simon Howat.
Any profits from the concert will be donated to the NSPCC whose usual fund-raising event has been cancelled.
